Truly Alone Its times like these when you realise
Looking around into the eyes
Of those that surround you
That you are truly alone
Although they gaze back
They see not the pain inside
The agony that deep within resides
Emotion Human emotions so frail and volatile,
Yet so completely necessary,
We love, we hate, we laugh, we cry,
But in one moment everything changes,
And we are left to wonder why

Surrounded by happiness and smiles,
Then a single second comes to pass,
Suddenly the joy has turned to anguish,
The smiles to tears,
Collapsing to the floor as the pain takes over

Emotions define us, yet they confine us,
And like shackles they bind us,
To the thoughts and memories we don’t want to recall,
For the fear that we might lose it all,
We fall through the despair of moments gone by

Just as the sun gives way to the moon,
All is shrouded in a sens
The Young Elder The night was all but over and the bar was quickly vacating. Closing time upon them the employees rushed around tidying up, trying to get home to their loved ones as soon as possible. The only person that remained in the establishment was a young man, no more than 19 years of age, sitting in solitary on a bar stool, a pint of his alcoholic beverage of choice, half empty, rested on the bar in front of him. Loneliness Dissipates Darkness absolute in all directions,
A man stands alone surrounded by nothing,
A spotlight shines down upon him,
Illuminating his feeling of loneliness

Suddenly another spotlight flickers on,
Next to him stands a friendly face,
And then another, and another,
The man is joined by his loved ones

Realisation strikes, you are never alone
Feelings of loneliness dissipate,
Your friends are always a source of support,
Those that surround you define who you are.

SUperman is way stronger and faster than the super-soldier. Ons solo fighter, no envorymental interferences, DC's big blue will go home with the score.
